FAREWELL MESSAGE

The 5th FINA Open Water Swimming Championships have finished. The Organising Committee has done its best, taking into account all the requirements to be able to fulfil all your needs.

We would like to thank you all for your participation and kind cooperation in the smooth running of the event.

All the Open Water Family can be proud. We are sure the next coming showcase of this discipline in the Olympic Games, taking place in Beijing, will be a complete and well deserved success.

We think Seville and Spain have also contributed, with their own hard work during these years, to make this possible.

Finally, we would like to wish you a happy return home and very good luck and health now and in the upcoming years. Thank you very much once again and best regards,

Javier Díaz-Jargüin
